As with most country homes, the kitchen is the center of life. We gravitate for coffee in the mornings, meet to discuss the days plans and set out about our day. Mid-morning to early afternoon is often hectic in the kitchen with lunch or snacks consumed to carry one through the afternoon. The evening hours bring folks together again as time to reflect on the day's activities.

Country Kitchen 
Z's Country Kitchen, a commercial grade facility, was added to the Farm in 2010. The kitchen brings forward the wholesome family tradition of food preservation passed down from past generations. As the center for canning, freezing and dehydrating fruits and vegetables, the wafts of sweetness fill the air whenever one walks by the kitchen doors. Many first place blue ribbons, won from Mesa County Fair, adorn jars of homemade goodness created in our Country Kitchen.
